Clue – A New Comedy at Bass Concert Hall

We'll be trying to hype up a play without giving up too many clues that turn into spoilers! Here goes nothing. One of the key ideas of the board game, which is where most people know the name from, has to do with the different stories that could've all taken place, and led to the downfall of one of the characters. The way that these various stories are incorporated into the playscript is super fun all the way through. It helps generate the tone for the entire show. That's a hard thing to achieve with Clue because, at the end of the day, it's a story about a murder scene, but the idea behind it is that it's a comedy. Apologies about that "spoiler," but then again, if you didn't know that, then maybe you are going to experience a few more surprises on Wednesday 15th January 2025 in Austin. The new comedy show, Clue is a family-friendly affair. The setup of this new version of an all-time classic concept makes it interesting, even for the younger members of the family. Since the story re-winds itself over and over again, telling different potential stories, you won't lose the string of what's taking place on stage, even if your attention goes elsewhere at some point. It's also a play not a musical, so don't expect any of the characters to randomly burst into song. However, they may or may not do so just to make fun of the traditional musical experience. It's a funny all-around experience that may leave you with some doubts at the end of the night. Was the story that you would've believed the one that actually took place? Finding a good spot within Bass Concert Hall is key to enjoying the play. Try to look for a place in the middle of the theater and a few rows back.
