We'll be trying to hype up a play without giving up too many clues that turn into spoilers! Here goes nothing. One of the key elements in the board game, which is where most members of the audience know the name from, has to do with the different things that could've all taken place, and led to the death of one of the characters. The way that these various scenarios are incorporated into the playscript is super intriguing all the way through. It helps create the tone for the entire show. That's a hard thing to do with Clue because, at the end of the day, it's a production about a murder scene, but the core of it is that it's a comedy. Sorry about that "spoiler," but then again, if you didn't know this, then maybe you are in for quite a few more surprises on Tuesday 14th January 2025 in Austin. All for the low price of just $104!
The new comedy show, Clue is a family-friendly experience. The setup of this updated version of an all-time classic concept makes it very appealing, even for the younger members of the family. Since the story re-winds itself over and over again, creating different scenarios, you don't necessarily lose sight of what's taking place on stage, even if your attention goes elsewhere at some point. It's also not a musical, so don't count on any of the characters to randomly burst into song. However, they may or may not do so just to make fun of the traditional musical experience. It's a fun all-around experience that may leave you scratching your head at the end of the night. Was the scenario that you would've picked the one that actually happened? You'll have to be at Bass Concert Hall to be in on the conversation.
